Legal and ethical Sheet

Copyright is the exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material. This means that if you published the work yourself you now own it and you can set terms if someone else wants to re- use your work and post it on an interactive media device they can if they pay for the rights. An example of this in a film, a song is used and the studio would have to ask permission of the artist and pay a fee. It was created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution. It is a form of Intellectual property as refers to creations of the intellect for which a monopoly is assigned to designated owners by law.

An example of something that I might include in my video which would be subject to copyright is music, this is because someone else would have produced the material and To have rights to use it i would have to contact the artist and pay a fee. This is the most common type of copyright infringement as music helps elevate a video and most of the bets music to use is someone else's and producing a song would be a much harder task.

Another thing that would be subject to copyright is footage from other user-generated videos or any other content as this could be helped to demonstrate a point after using voice-over. This is also a another major use which many users have been subject to. Youtube has a system which detects use of video and could be taken down.

My last example is text which could be copied from another source and Would have to give credit by naming the source of where it came from otherwise the original writer of the text can claim copyright. The text would come from research about a subject and The key thing is to make sure I present the content in my own words to show I have knowledge about the subject.

A website that gives copyright free music is http://www.premiumbeat.com/ it is  curated royalty free music website that provides exclusive, high-quality tracks and sound effects for use in new and traditional media projects, including videos, films, apps, games, and television programming. It is trusted by the big and leading companies. The other example of a royalty free music website is bensound.com, He is an artist who composes free music that can be used without having to pay for the rights, the creator is called  Benjamin TISSOT, a Composer and Musician based in France who has been writing music for more than 10 years. His was featured in projects from animations, corporate videos, commercials to short films and documentaries.

Location release form is a binding contract between the photographer/cameraman and the owner of a private property whereby the owner of the property grants written permission to shoot a movie, video, commercial, photography or similar productions on the owner's property. The form would give details on where he/she will be completing the project a form would look like this.

A contributor release form could be Generally, contributors consent to being filmed and their contributions broadcast when they agree to be filmed, on the basis of the information they have been given. Release forms do not constitute the consent itself but, rather, are merely evidence of consent having been given. To avoid confusion, it may be sensible to ask contributors to sign their release forms before filming takes place. So they need to be asked before being filmed otherwise the cameraman/group would get into a trouble, a form looks like something like this.
