- Identifying publisher prospects in areas with greatest return
- Develop, negotiate and close new business
- Involvement in post-sales process to:
- Ensure new customer expectations are met
- Ensure renewals and follow on new revenue opportunities with customers
- Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities
- Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed
- Participate in industry events and conferences
Qualifications
- Previous publisher sales & development experience working within a digital advertising business
- Preferred experience includes working with major online publishers and must have a strong understanding of online media operations infrastructure
- Minimum of 4 years selling into publishers
- 4+ years of relevant experience in online media
- Strong list of contacts at major online publishers and ad networks
- Excellent presentation skills, communications ability, and a strong work ethic
- Must be motivated to build a business, thus reaping the rewards of its success
- Proven track record of meeting objective and delivering exceptional results
